Fifth Annual Philly Wine Week Kicks Off With Opening Corks Gala at Vie, March 22

Editor's Note: This event has been moved from the 23rd Street Armory to Vie due to the Armory housing emergency snow vehicles in the aftermath of Winter Storm Toby.

Philly Wine Week, which is now in its fifth year, begins on Thursday, March 22 and ends on Thursday, March 29, and to celebrate, the Opening Corks gala will kick off the week on Thursday, March 22 from 6 PM - 9 PM at Vie.

Featuring over 100 premium whites, rosés, sparklings, and reds, Opening Corks, Wine Week’s signature starting event, will be held at Cescaphe's Vie on Broad Street, where guests will be able to taste a huge selection of rare and delicious wines.

Participating restaurants, which will be offering everything from snacks and cheese to dessert, include The Good King Tavern, Di Bruno Bros., Barbuzzo, Oloroso, Jet Wine Bar, American Sardine Bar, Maison 208, Lacroix and more

General admission tickets are $48 per person, but if you want the full experience, VIP tickets are $90 per person and include an extra hour of tasting beginning at 5 PM, alongside passed bites and an exclusive champagne bar. Pick up your tickets here before they sell out, so you can start Wine Week the right way.
