Where to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day 2018 in Philadelphia
Spring is almost here and with that comes the blooming of foliage, birds chirping, sunny skies, and one of the biggest drinking holidays of the year! Put on your lucky t-shirt, get your green socks out of storage, and pick a clover to tuck behind your ear, because these are the best events and drink specials going on for St. Patrick’s Day 2018 in Philadelphia.

Look no further than this Old City St. Patrick’s Day bar crawl for fun on the 17th. From 12-8 PM participants can enjoy drink specials, no covers, St. Patty’s swag, DJs and entertainment and a free t-shirt to the first 200 guests. Participating bars include: The Gaslight, Lucha Cartel, JJ Bootleggers, Silence Dogood’s Tavern, Marmont, Common Wealth, Infusion Lounge, National Mechanics, Las Vegas Lounge, and Sto’s Bar. Early bird tickets are $10 so get them while they last, the price will go up to $25.

Visit this Center City Celtic bar as early as 7 AM on the big day. There will be brunch served until noon, live music starting at 2 PM and 6 Nations Rugby starting at 8:30 AM. $10 cover. (1500 Locust St.)

The party begins at Field House at 10 AM on St. Patrick’s Day with live music, food and Stateside Vodka drink specials. Purchase your VIP ticket for $10 in advance and get $2 Miller Lites from 11 AM-1 PM.  (1150 Filbert St.)

Throw on your best green outfit and celebrate all things Irish at McGillins. They’ll be open an hour early, at 10 AM, on the big day serving up green beer and Irish potato martinis. They also currently have Irish food specials like bangers and mash, shepherd’s pie, corned beef and cabbage available on their menu until March 16. $5 cover. (1310 Drury St.)

Head to Fairmount for a giant block party on North 17th Street from 10 AM-7:30 PM. Expect $3 Miller Lite’s, live Irish dance performances, giveaways, corn hole, beer pong, face painting for the kids and more. (1701 Green St.)
