Four Philadelphia Bartenders are Representing the City at Speed Rack, An All-Female Bartending Competition in D.C.
Speed Rack, a national competition featuring exclusively female bartenders, will take place on Monday, March 19 in Washington, D.C., and this year, four Philadelphia bartenders will represent the City of Brotherly Love.
Jenee Craver (ITV), Miranda Helck (The Franklin), Elissa Zingler (Parc), and Michelle Cudia (Philadelphia Distilling) will head to D.C. for this competition started by women and starring women, which is Philly's largest Speed Rack turnout yet. This event began in February of 2011, and in its seventh year, it continues to promote women in the bar industry and raise money for breast cancer research to boot.
If you want to support these local bartenders, make your way to D.C. on March 19, and you can purchase your tickets here. If you can, don't miss this opportunity to cheer on some of Philadelphia's very best bartenders as they battle it out against female bartenders from across the country.
