The Best Boozy Festivals Hitting Philly This Spring

 
Spring is here, and with the change of the season comes a ton of outdoor festivals. We’ve rounded up some of the best boozy festivals hitting the Philly area where you can celebrate spring foliage, food, and of course, brews!
 
Main Street, Manayunk, Sunday, April 15, 11 AM-5 PM
Hit the strEATs in Manayunk for a giant festival featuring over 70 food trucks and vendors. Expect tons of dishes made from this year’s featured ingredient—strawberry. The festival will also feature multiple stages with live music, sidewalk sales and a beer garden.  (Main Street from Shurs Lane to Green Lane)
   
Manayunk Brewery, Saturday, April 28, 1 PM-5 PM
Enjoy unlimited samples of over 70 craft brews at this outdoor festival. Tickets include a souvenir sampling glass, unlimited beer samples, rum samples, and live music. Pulled pork, fish tacos, jerk chicken and other food items will also be available for purchase. VIP tickets are available and include one hour early admission, top shelf rum samples, a custom event shirt, and one complimentary food ticket.  $45 GA, $60 VIP. (4120 Main St.)
 
Brauhaus Schmitz, Saturday, May 5, 11 AM-8 PM
Held on the same day as the South Street Spring Festival, Maifest is a beer lover’s delight. Admission to the festival is free, but VIP tickets are available which include an appetizer buffet from 12 PM-6 PM, commemorative mug, access to a VIP beer hall with exclusive beers and seven tokens good for VIP beers and German food, private bathrooms and other swag. Other entertainment includes flower crown making, authentic German dancers and live music. $100 VIP. (718 South St.)
 
Cannstatter Volkfest Verein, Saturday, May 5, 1-5 PM
Partake in a huge outdoor beer festival at the Cannnstatter this spring. Local craft brewers like 2SP, Dock Street, Conshohocken, and Weyerbacher will be on hand to answer questions about the brews and offer unlimited pours. Tickets include a commemorative NE Philly tasting glass as well as live music. German and American food will also be available for purchase. VIP tickets are available for one hour early entry and access to rare beers. $35 GA, $45 VIP. (9130 Academy Rd.)
 
Sly Fox Brewery, Sunday, May 6, 11 AM-6 PM
Celebrate the tapping of Sly Fox’s Maibock with great beer, German food, music and even a goat race. The extensive lineup of bock’s include Sly Fox’s  Helles Bock, Slacker Bock, Instigator Doppelbock, two Eisbocks, and the Maibock which will be tapped after the goat races conclude.  Everything is purchased on a pay as you go basis, and admission to the event is free. Food & beverage tickets must be purchased either with cash or via the Beerme app.  (331 Circle of Progress Drive, Pottstown, PA)
 
Citizens Bank Park, Saturday, May 19, 3-7 PM
When the Phillies are away the craft beer lovers will play. Sample over 200 craft beers, wines and spirits at this festival held at the ballpark. Tickets include a commemorative glass, bag of pretzels, entertainment, games, giveaways—oh and two tickets to a Phillies home game in the 2018 season! Guests will also be able to take professional photos in the dugout and walk the bases during the festival. Limited VIP tickets are also available which include one hour early entry plus exclusive tastings and more. $44.95 GA, $69.95 VIP. (1 Citizens Bank Way)
