The East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District is hosting Flavors on the Avenue, a huge street festival featuring bites and booze from over two dozen of the Avenue’s best restaurants on Sunday, April 29 from 11 AM - 5 PM.

The festival will be located on Passyunk Avenue from Broad to Dickinson Streets, which will be blocked off to traffic. The event is completely free to attend with food and drink options pay-as-you-go with bites ranging from $3-$6.

Expect festival-forward food like pork tacos from Cantina Los Caballitos and meatball parm sandwiches and pizza slices from Stoagie Joe’s. Drink options include craft cocktails from Manatawny Still Works, craft beers from The Bottle Shop and new this year, Founders Brewing will set up a tent for festival goers to taste their brews. New participants this year include Barcelona Wine Bar who will be serving vegetable paella, Pistola’s Del Sur offering seafood ceviche and Redcrest Fried Chicken serving fried chicken and vegan sliders.

Other participating restaurants and bakeries include: Bing Bing Dim Sum, Brigantessa, Cantina los Caballitos, The Chilly Banana, Chhaya, El Sarape, Essen Bakery, Fond, Izumi, Le Virtu, Mamma Maria, Noir, Noord, Paradiso, P’unk Burger, Saté Kampar, Vanilya Bakery and Will BYOB.

Besides food and drink, the street festival will feature live music, activities for kids like a moon bounce and crafts, and awesome sidewalk sales from East Passyunk’s boutiques as well as pop up art and craft vendors.
