Harper's Garden is Rittenhouse's Newest Urban Oasis
FCM Hospitality, the team behind Philly favorites like Morgan's Pier, Parks on Tap, and Concourse, is bringing a new concept to Rittenhouse Square: Harper's Garden, a new bar & restaurant located at the corner of 31 S. 18th Street (between Market & Chestnut). The new outdoor space will host its grand opening on Wednesday, May 16, and the hours are:
Open daily, seven days a week 12 PM - 2 AM
Lunch on weekdays and Brunch on weekends from 12 PM - 3 PM
Dinner is served 5 PM -10 PM, seven days a week
Limited menu 3 PM - 5 PM daily, seven days a week
With an outdoor veranda that will seat up to 100 guests, this new dining destination, outfitted with twinkling lights and a full garden, is a perfect spot for dining al fresco during the summer. Its indoor space will remain fairly open to the elements as well, with doors and windows that open directly out onto the veranda, seating for 50 guests, and a private event space that holds 75 guests. Ben Moore, previously of Wister BYOB in Old City, will bring his creative culinary skills to the kitchen as the Executive Chef, producing New American cuisine with a focus on fresh and seasonal ingredients.
Meanwhile, behind the bar, Jesse Cornell (an alum of Sbraga, Vesper, and Skygarten, among others) will be creating a fresh cocktail menu alongside 30 beer taps and an extensive wine list, and cocktails include perfect summertime libations like the 18th Street Heat (Jalapeno infused Espolon, lemonade, Aperol).
Stop by the grand opening of Harper's Garden on May 16 or any time after, and discover your new favorite place to drink and dine outside for the summer.
