Time in Midtown Village Has Reopened After July's Huge Water Main Break
After a disastrous water main break in early July, Time, Midtown Village's premier whiskey and jazz bar, has finally reopened.
The flooring on the first floor has been replaced, as has the bar's electrical panel — both the latter and the space's entire refrigeration system were destroyed during the water main break.
Be aware that, until the damaged draft lines are replaced, no draft beer will be available yet, but you can stop in for wine, bottled or canned beer, and, of course, whiskey. Chef Mackenzie Hilton will also offer a limited bar menu while final repairs take place.
Time isn't the last spot to open after this massive accident — Opa, their neighbor on Sansom Street, is still closed and reportedly hopes to reopen in September. We at Drink Philly hope all of the affected businesses will be back on their feet soon.
