Sly Fox's Free Can Jam Music Festival Returns, September 29

Jam on!

There's plenty of beer fests happening this time of year, but this one from the folks at Sly Fox is truly unique. The completely free music festival takes place at their brewery in Pottstown Saturday, September 29 and celebrates all things can and jam.

First off, there will be a huge KanJam tournament that happens to be the largest in the world. If you’re unaware, KanJam is a game played with Frisbees and giant buckets, and of course, at this festival, plenty of cans of Sly Fox beer! All 160 tournament spots are currently full, but guests will have the opportunity to play recreationally.

As far as the jam goes, this year’s music line up is sure to delight. Headlining the festival are The Wailers (Bob Marley’s old band) along with performances by jam band Splintered Sunlight, Billy Walton Band, You Do You Band and the River Bones Band.

There will also be tons of grub including pizza, cheesesteaks, pretzels, veggie sandwiches and brats sold on a pay as you go basis. Also keep your eyes peeled for a special can release at the festival.

The festival starts at 12 PM and is cash only (with an ATM on site).
