Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant in Center City Now Open
Delaware's own Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant is opening its first location in Center City, with its 15th location landing at 1150 Market Street. The brewery and pub will open its doors on Thursday, September 13 at 5 PM.
With 8,500 square feet and seating for 275 people, the on-site brewery will be able to serve up freshly brewed beers to guests either inside or in their outdoor space (with the capacity to produce 900 barrels of their beer annually within the space, certainly no one will go thirsty there any time soon). Alongside Iron Hill's signature brews like their White Iron Wit and Vienna Red Lager, seasonal beers, and new favorites like the Philly Special and the Hungry Dog IPA, guests can enjoy elevated pub food like burgers, cheesesteak eggrolls, flatbreads, and more.
The brewery will have a charitable bent, too — Iron Hill as a whole already is in partnership with CureSearch for Children's Cancer — but at this location, Iron Hill will also donate proceeds from each Triple Chocolate Hill dessert sold to Philabundance.
Co-founder Kevin Finn says, of the new location, "when we opened our first Iron Hill 22 years ago, we never dreamed that one day we would be opening our 15th location in Center City Philadelphia. We couldn't be more excited to be part of the growth, energy and potential of the East Market neighborhood to offer a new place to enjoy delicious beer and food with good friends."
The brewery will be open Monday through Wednesday from 11:30 AM - 11 PM, Thursday and Friday from 11:30 AM - 12 AM, Saturday from 11 AM - 12 AM, and Sunday from 11 AM - 11 PM, so if you're already an Iron Hill fan or have yet to try their beers, stop by at their new spot in the heart of Center City.
