The scariest time of year is here again—Halloween in Philadelphia! Here are our top picks for the spookiest and booziest events and parties to go to during this ghoulish season.
 
Wednesday, October 24, 5:30 PM-9:30 PM
East Passyunk Ave
East Passyunk bars will be transforming into a witchy wonderland for this craft beer crawl. Tickets are $6.66 and include a witch hat, a stamp card and $4 beer specials from Founders. Earn stamps by heading to participating bars, collect five or more and be entered to win prizes worth up to $300. Registration is from 5:30 PM-7:30 PM at Garage and to be entered in the raffle, cards must be returned to the Adobe Café. Purchase your ticket here (1231 East Passyunk Ave.)
 
Friday, October 26, 8 PM-12 AM
BAHDEEBAHDU
The AIDS Law Project is hosting their annual Halloween party once again this year with the special theme “Swine and Pearls”. The party kicks off Friday at 8 PM dancing, complimentary drinks, light fare and great tunes. Tickets for the event cost $30, VIP (very important pig) tickets are $60 and come with 30 raffle tickets. Friday, October 26-Saturday, October 27, 8 PM-2 AM
South Philly's biggest sports bar will be hosting two huge Halloween celebration this weekend. Tickets start at $10 and can be purchased in advance here. VIP packages are also available with bottle service and other add-ons. All tickets include cover charge and a costume contest with over $2,500 in cash and prizes, and live DJs. (1100 Pattison Ave.)
 
Saturday, October 27, 8 PM-2 AM
Concourse Carnivale: Hallo-Queens & Creatures
Concourse Dance Bar
Philadelphia's only bar with a ballpit will be hosting a drag-tastic evening with 4 drag queens performing, a DJ, circus performers, and Carnivale-themed decor. Tickets are $10 at the door, but you can pre-purchase an Early Bird Open Bar ticket and enjoy an open bar of well drinks and beers from 8 PM-10 PM for just $20. You can also win $500 at the Bacardi USA Costume Contest (1635 Market St., back entrance)
 
Saturday, October 27, 9 PM-2 AM
Don’t miss this Headhouse bar’s annual free Halloween party. Entertainment includes live music from the Mikey Junior Band and a costume contest with prizes for most creative and scariest costumes. There will also be a “Witching Hour” starting at 11 PM with drink specials changing every 15 minutes. (509 S 2nd St.)
 
Saturday, October 27, 9 PM-2 AM
Celebrate Morgan’s Pier’s final night of the season at their annual Halloween Bash. Tickets are $50 in advance and $60 at the door and include a 5 hour open bar with premium drinks (until they run out), and guaranteed well drinks and domestic beers. There will also be a costume contest hosted by Philly Drag Mafia’s Brittany Lynn with up to $500 in cash prizes, a DJ and free hot dogs. The event is rain or shine and there will be heat lamps and tent enclosures to keep party goers warm.  (221 N Columbus Blvd.)
  
Sunday, October 28, 4 PM & 9 PM
The Fillmore is turning its entire floor into a roller rink again this Halloween. Admission is free for all ages between 4 PM-8 PM. At 9 PM the event turns into a 21+ dance party with featured DJs. Tickets are $10 and include skating and skate rentals. Grab your tickets here. (29 E Allen St.)
 
Wednesday, October 31, 6:30 PM-9:30 PM
We’re totally biased, but this is going to be the best event of the Halloween season. Sail down the Delaware on the Spirit of Philadelphia for a three hour party with an open bar, dinner buffet, a DJ, activities and a costume contest. Tickets cost $57, and you can purchase them ahead of time here. The boat begins boarding at 6:30 PM. (401 S Christopher Columbus Blvd.)  
 
Wednesday, October 31, 7 PM-12 AM
Bring all your favorite ghouls and ghosts out for this free block party on Hamilton Street hosted by Love City and The Patio. Entertainment includes DJs, a vinyl dance party, food trucks, beer, cocktails and lots of drink specials. (1000 Hamilton St.)
 
Wednesday, October 31, 8 PM-1 AM
Head to this this German bar for a Halloween party and costume contest. Contest begins at 10 PM and entrants have a chance to win up to a $150 Starr Restaurants gift card. Victory Beer will be there as well to provide $5 half liter and 10 liter drafts. (1210 Frankford Ave.)
 
Wednesday, October 31, 8 PM-12 AM
Grab your tickets for a night of ping pong and other scary fun. Tickets are $10 and include unlimited ping pong play, a live DJ, a costume contest and special surprises from Fireball.  Get them in advance here. (211 S 15th St.)

Two great parties all under one roof this Halloween at the Barbary. Downstairs 90s kids will freak to faves like the Spice Girls, Britney, Destiny’s Child, and more while upstairs 80s heads will get their Thiller on to Michael Jackson, Madonna and Prince. $5 cover at the door.
