Somm 3, A New Documentary About Sommeliers, is Premiering in Philadelphia
Somm 3, a new documentary about the wine world documentary about the world of wine and professional sommeliers, is eyeing a national release later this year — but first, it will premiere in Philadelphia at two separate events.
Two premieres will take place on the first weekend of November at two different wine-focused spots in the city. On Saturday, November 3 from 12 PM - 3 PM, Panorama will host an exclusive premiere and luncheon, with tickets priced at $175 per person for a sparkling wine reception, a screening of the film, and a 4-course luncheon and wine pairing. (The ticket price will, however, rise to $225 per person after October 28.) Then, on Sunday, November 4 from 3 PM to 5 PM, The Rittenhouse Hotel will also feature a screening of the film for $75 per person, which will include a reception with premium wines and small bites. You can also bring your own bottle to the event, if you so choose. The director and filmmaker, Jason Wise, as well as cast member and Master Sommelier Sabato Sagaria, will be present at both screenings for a Q&A after the film.
You can purchase tickets for the Saturday event at Panorama here and the Sunday event at The Rittenhouse Hotel here — you won't want to miss your chance to see these exclusive premieres and chat with two extraordinarily knowledgeable wine experts.
