a.bar is hosting a book release party on Wednesday, October 24 from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM for Aperitif: Cocktail Hour the French Way by Rebekah Peppler, a new book on lighter, pre-dinner cocktails.

The event, which is open to the public, will include complimentary bites and, of course, cocktails from the book — including Juillet, Lillet + Tonic, Expat Americano, Kir Moderne, and Shot de Rose — crafted by a.bar's talented team. There will also be a limited number of copies of the book available (which will be first-come, first-serve), which Peppler, an American food stylist and writer based in Paris, will sign. 

“Rebekah’s book is a beautiful encapsulation of the time-honored French tradition of aperitifs, which we fully embrace here at a.bar,” says owner Ellen Yin. “We are thrilled to host this fun and social cocktail party in her honor, and we hope that many of our fans and friends will visit to raise a glass and page through this beautiful new addition to their bookshelves.”
