Dock Street Brewery is Releasing An 'Always Sunny' Themed Beer For the Season Finale, November 7
Dock Street Brewery is releasing a new beer, The Gang Tries to Get Mac to Come to Dock Street, just in time for the season 13 finale of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
The beer, which is a 5.5% ABV milk stout served in 16 ounce cans, is a tribute to Ronald "Mac" McDonald, one of the five main characters of the Philly-based comedy who is played by Rob McElhenney, a Philadelphia native (he even owns a bar, Mac's Tavern, located in Old City). As a nod to his hometown, McElhenney has sported a Dock Street shirt several times during the series, and so there's no better time to try and get McElhenney (and perhaps the rest of the gang) down to the brewery itself. "We might get a visit, we might get a lawsuit, but at least we’ll get a laugh, so come through and hang," said the Dock Street team in a press release.
On Wednesday, November 7, you can pick up this brand new beer at the cannery in West Philly, and they'll also be holding a viewing party for the season finale of the show starting at 10 PM — so if you're hoping to spot Mac himself or just want to try their new beer while watching one of Philly's signature shows, now's your chance.
