Bars and Restaurants Open on Thanksgiving Day 2018 in Philadelphia

Whether you’re not into cooking or you just want to take a break from the fam to have a drink (or 10), Philadelphia’s got you covered with plenty of bars and restaurants open this Thanksgiving. While the liquor stores may be closed, many bars in Philadelphia are kind enough to open their doors and their kitchens to all of us in need of a relaxing holiday.  
 
Assembly Rooftop Lounge (1875 Benjamin Franklin Pkwy.; 215-783-4171)
This rooftop bar overlooking the Parkway will be open from 8 AM-12 PM. It's the perfect spot to grab some breakfast and watch the 6ABC parade. 
 
Bank & Bourbon (1200 Market St.)
For $65 enjoy a delicious buffet with fresh seafood and traditional Thanksgiving staples. An optional $35 wine pairing is available, and kids eat for $22. Reservations available from 11 AM-10 PM.  
 
Bishop's Collar (2349 Fairmount Ave.; 215-765-1616)
Open at 7 PM.
 
Bottle Bar East (1308 Frankford Ave.; 267-909-8867)
Bottle Shop opens at 11:30 AM. Bar and kitchen open at 4 PM.
Christmas Village (15th & JFK.)
Opens at 9 AM with mulled wine, beer and food until 5 PM.
 
CO-OP (20 S 33rd St.)
University City’s newest hotel restaurant is offering a dinner for four package for $100 that includes turkey, sides and a bottle of wine.
 
Del Frisco’s (1426 Chestnut St.)
A $59, prix-fixe menu is available at this upscale steakhouse from 12 PM-9 PM.
 
Devil’s Alley (1907 Chestnut St.)
Open from 2 PM-8 PM with a 3-course dinner for only $29.95 for adults and $19.95 for kids. Bar open until 10 PM. Call 215-751-0707 to make a reservation.
 
Dim Sum House (3939 Chestnut St.; 215-921-5377)
Open with full menu and specials like king crab from 12 PM-8 PM.
 
London Grill (2301 Fairmount Ave.)
Reserve your spot for this traditional Thanksgiving buffet dinner from 2 PM-7 PM. $45 gets you soups, buffet, and dessert. Kids eat half priced.
  
O'Neal's Pub (611 S 3rd St.; 215-574-9495)
Open at 11 AM. Kitchen open until 1 AM. Happy hour from 4:30PM-6:30 PM with specials like 6 pony beers for $7.
 
The Palm (200 S Broad St.)
Take your pick of your favorite side dish at this steakhouse’s Thanksgiving feast. From 3 PM-9 PM they’ll be serving a 3-course meal for $55 with spruced up versions of your typical turkey day sides.
 
P.J. Clarke’s (601 Walnut St.)
Visit one of Philly’s newest restaurants for a $39 autumnal dinner from 1 PM-8 PM that won’t disappoint.
 
Pub on Passyunk East (1501 East Passyunk Ave.; 215-755-5125)
Open at 6 PM with a turkey platter food special and a citywide special of Love City lager & Wild Turkey.
 
Ray's Happy Birthday Bar (1200 East Passyunk Ave.; 215-365-1169)
Open at 7 AM.
 
Red Owl Tavern (433 Chestnut St.; 215-923-2267)
Head to this Old City bar for a $55, 3-course prix-fixe Thanksgiving dinner available from 12:30 PM-8 PM.
 
Scarpetta (210 W Rittenhouse Sq.; 215-558-4199)
The Italian restaurant will be open from 2 PM-7:30 PM serving a $68, 4-course prix fixe tasting menu.
 
Smokin Betty’s (116 S 11th St.)
Open from 2 PM-8 PM with a 3-course dinner for only $29.95 for adults and $19.95 for kids. Bar open until 10 PM. Call 215-922-6500 to make a reservation.
 
Square 1682 (121 S 17th St.; 215-563-5008)
Open for dinner from 4 PM-9 PM with a $60 prix-fixe, 3-course Thanksgiving-style meal.
 
Taproom on 19th (2400 S 19th St.; 267-687-7817)
Open at 1 PM. They’ll be offering free Thanksgiving meals to industry folks and if you bring a dish to share you’ll get a free Lord Chesterfield draft. 
 
The Twisted Tail (509-511 S. 2nd St.; 215-558-2471)
Open from 12 PM-10 PM. Family-style Thanksgiving dinner served for $49 per person, $25 for kids.
  
Urban Farmer (1850 Benjamin Franklin Pkwy.; 215-963-2788)
The restaurant will be serving a $75 per person Thanksgiving dinner from 4 PM-9 PM. Half priced for children 12 and under.
