Helm Rittenhouse Has a New Cocktail Program & Happy Hour
Helm Rittenhouse at 19th and Chestnut is rolling out a brand new cocktail menu alongside a new happy hour, just in time for the new year.
Take the Stairs (Lairds Bonded Apple Brandy, maraschino, Carpano Sweet Vermouth, Campari)
Created by veteran bartender Jesse Cornell (who has worked all over Philadelphia, including stints at Vesper, Harper's Garden, Sbraga, and Skygarten), the new cocktail program features classics like Negronis and Sazeracs alongside brand new and original cocktails you can only find at Helm.
Liquid Swords (Espolon Tequila, Montenegro, fresh lemon, sugar, orange bitters)
The menu features four new cocktails, and no matter what kind of drinker you are, there's something for everyone, from stirred and boozy to refreshing and bubbly.
George Burns (Wild Turkey 101 Rye, Laphroaig, Carpano Sweet Vermouth, Benedictine)
Alongside the new cocktail program is Helm's new happy hour, which will take place Monday through Friday from 5 PM - 7 PM.
Big Pink (Tito's, Cocchi Americano, Aperol, bubbles)
During happy hour, guests can enjoy $8 glasses of house red and white wines, an $8 cocktail of the day, and $5 select draft beers.
Fried frog legs, chorizo cream cheese, eggplant pureé.
If you're hungry, they'll also offer a happy hour food menu, which will rotate seasonally but currently includes perfect bar snacks like frog legs with eggplant pureé and chorizo cream cheese ($8), chicken wings with long hot agrodolce ($5), or jerk meatballs with a pineapple slaw ($5).

Now that Helm will be open on Mondays, they're running another brand new special — guests can enjoy half-priced bottles of wine (from the entire wine list) every Monday at the bar. If you're looking for a full meal to go with your bottle, you can try the chef's tasting, which encompasses Helm's entire menu.

Helm's new hours are Monday through Thursday from 5 PM to 11 PM and Friday and Saturday from 5 PM to 2 AM (and closed on Sunday), so stop in for their new happy hour, one of their new signature cocktails, or a half-priced bottle of carefully curated wine.
