A new, high-end blend of Jack Daniel's whiskey, known as Jack Daniel's No. 27 Gold, which was previously only available in overseas markets, has finally come home to the United States, according to Forbes.  

This upscale version of the beloved Tennessee sour mash whiskey is made a little differently than the original – described as a "super premium" version of Jack Daniel's, this whiskey is aged just like the standard whiskey, but then aged for a second time in a maple barrel for six months to a year, making it twice mellowed as well.

After its success in select markets across the world, particularly in Asian markets, the good men and women at Jack Daniel's made the decision to bring it home to the United States, and it will release nationwide during April, so if you're a fan of Jack Daniel's, you may have just found your perfect sipping whiskey from here on out.
