Head to Philadelphia Distilling on Thursdays & Fridays for a Specially Priced 'Cocktail Hour'
You already know and love Philadelphia Distilling, but you can get to know them even better every Thursday and Friday during their specially priced cocktail hour from 4 PM - 7 PM.
For two days a week (the tasting room is only open Thursday through Sunday weekly, and is occasionally closed for special events), you can enjoy drinks made with Philadelphia Distilling's signature spirits, including their award-winning Bluecoat American Dry Gin, for just $8 a cocktail.
The cocktail list includes classics like the Aviation (Bluecoat American Dry gin, violet liquor, maraschino, lemon) and their 50/50 Martini (Bluecoat American Dry Gin, house vermouth blend) as well as lighter options like an Eastside (Bluecoat American Dry Gin, lime, mint, cucumber).
The rest of the special cocktail menu features other favorites as well as classics with a Philadelphia Distilling bent, like a Penicillin made with gin instead of scotch (Bluecoat Barrel Finished Gin, lemon, ginger, honey, black cardamom), a Corpse Reviver #2 (Bluecoat American Dry Gin, lemon, fortified wine, orange liquor, Vieux Carre Absinthe), a Clover Club (Bluecoat American Dry Gin, raspberry, lemon, egg white), a Tom Collins (Bluecoat American Dry Gin, lemon, simple syrup, soda water), and, of course, a classic G&T made with Fever Tree tonic.
They also have a number of small plates from Chef Zach Campbell, all of which are just $5. You really can't beat a fried chicken sandwich for $5, and this one is pretty irresistible, served on a Martin's potato roll with pickles, tomato, and "revolutionary sauce."
If you're looking for a smaller snack, try their elderflower popcorn, which is flavored with elderflower botanicals, or their blistered shishito peppers garnished with pistachios and dressed in sherry vinegar.
It's not like you needed another reason to head to Philadelphia Distilling, one of the city's signature distilleries, but definitely don't sleep on this excellent deal; head to their Fishtown space and grab a classic cocktail after work on Thursdays and Fridays, pair it with a chicken sandwich, and enjoy the view of their copper stills.
