Victory Brewing's New Philadelphia Location on the Parkway Now Open

by Drink Philly on Oct 26, 2021 in Beer

Victory Brewing Co just launched their newest venture right in the heart of Philadelphia, making the former TGI Fridays on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway their new home.

This massive 14,000 square foot brewpub features a downstairs bar, an upstairs bar, an outdoor bar, outdoor sidewalk seating, a roof deck with outdoor seating, a full kitchen with food made in-house, and a full brewing system.

Each bar, indoor and out, will pour 26 Victory beers on tap, including five unique beers brewed on location, as well as beers from their sister breweries, Southern Tier and Sixpoint Brewing. Beers currently pouring exclusive to this location are Victory Strong Lager, KSQ IPA, William Penn IPA, Tripel IPA, and Brite Skies IPA. Guests can order by the glass or make their own flights by picking five beers to sample. Check out the full beer menu here.

The brewery area itself features a brand new Prospero 2-vessel 7 barrel steam powered brewhouse manufactured by SKRLJ, with six fermenters and five serving/brite tanks, and four beer pump lines that connect straight to the taps. This brewing system is used in multiple innovation breweries and is hailed for its ability to continually produce beer directly to the taps.

The new brewery sports a full liquor license, which means they'll also serve drinks with spirits from their sister company, Southern Tier Distilling Co. Guests can choose from eight unique signature cocktails on the menu featuring vodka, gin, and various whiskeys by Southern Tier Distilling Co spirits.

Ciders, Hard Tea, and Hard Lemonade will be on tap from Victory's sister company, Bold Rock. A selection of thirteen various wines will also be available from vineyards and wineries all over the world.

But wait, there's more: Victory will offer their canned "Ready to Drink Cocktails," such as Vodka Soda, Vodka Madras, Bourbon Smash, Lime Agave Margarita, and King & Cola. They've even jumped into the low abv seltzer game with their Waves Seltzer (5%), available in mixed berry, orange, mango, and lime.

The food menu consists of pub favorites like house made pretzels, loaded fries, and buffalo wings, as well as larger entrees like the Brewhouse Burger, Kebob Naan, or Cauliflower Steak. All food items are made in-house from scratch, and many are even made using Victory's beer itself. Check out the full food menu here.

Victory intends to make full use of their scenic parkway location with two outdoor locations. Cafe seating is nestled along the parkway sidewalk, with even more seats just inside the wide accordion style doors, which open the entire entire front wall and are sure to let in plenty of fresh air on nice days. Sidewalk seating even allows for dogs, so you'll be able to enjoy the view with your best furry friend.

On the second floor is a 3,500 square foot roof deck with open air on three sides. Guests can enjoy a fully stocked outdoor bar, cafe seating with plenty of tables and chairs, and bar stools along the bar rail overlooking the beautiful parkway.

Every seat on the roof deck gives a great view of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and every area in the brewery is wheelchair accessible (including the bar seats!), thanks to the elevator spanning three floors, and accesible ramps thoughout the venue.

The new location will feature five private event spaces in its indoor and outdoor spaces, which can hold anywhere from 40 to 150 people. So be sure to book early because they are sure to fill up once opening. Contact Allie Killeen for bookings: Akilleen@victorybeer.com, 445-223-1126.
