Where to Celebrate Philly Cider Week 2022, October 23-30
The fourth annual Philadelphia Cider Week is being celebrated from Sunday, October 23 through Sunday, October 30. The week will feature curated events from some of Philly’s best bars and restaurants featuring artisanal ciders from orchards around the world. Here are some events to attend during this exciting week.
Philly Cider Week 2022 Kick-Off
Sunday, October 23, 12-6 PM
Khyber Pass Pub & Royal Boucherie (52 South 2nd Street)
Toast to the official start of PCW 2022 at “Cochon et Cidre” a pork and cider pairing party in Old City. Khyber Pass Pub will be serving up some ciders from PA’s After The Fall, Dressler Estate and Big Hill Cider Works, while Royal Boucherie will serve ciders imported from France, including a Cider cocktail made with pork fat-washed Calvados. New Orleans and French-inspired bites including a whole roasted pig, pork belly cracklins, beignets and more will be featured.
Cider School
Monday, October 24, 2-4 PM
Middle Child Clubhouse (1232 N Front St.)
Beverage professionals – this one is for you. Join Cider Historian, Mark Turdo and PCW Founder, Amy Hartranft for this free class on the past, present and future of American Cider and relate it to how it affects buying decisions in the Philadelphia area. Free samples of Ploughman Cider will be poured.
Shacksbury & Snax

American Sardine Bar (1800 Federal St.)
Vermont’s Shacksbury Cider will be stopping by this South Philly spot for the evening to pour some bottles and cans of their favorite ciders including this year’s releases of Deer Snacks, Shacksbury Bon Voyage & Wes. Chef Beau Neidhardt will also be whipping up some snacks (or snax) to make perfect pairings.

Two local cideries, Ploughman Cider and The Cider Jawns have teamed up for a special collaboration fermentation, Monarch. Come be one of the first to try the zesty plum and ginger-infused cider at this Port Richman bar and bottle shop.

Wrap up the fourth annual Philly Cider Week at an outdoor street festival featuring over 11 different cideries, food from Papermill Foods food truck, a costume contest, raffles, tarot card readings, live music from local bands, and more.
