Drinking Made Easy Premier
Drinking, one of the easiest activities in the history of man, just got easier. Drinking Made Easy is a new TV show on HDnet premiering tonight at 8:30pm Eastern, highlighting host Zane Lampreys 53 city comedy tour.
The show will feature Zane with his friend Steve McKenna and comedian Marc Ryan as they delve into each city’s drinking culture researching local customs, drinks, bars, and more while getting inebriated the whole way.
What better city to kick off the show with than Philadelphia? With one of the richest historical backgrounds and diverse drinking and craft beer scene, the city is the perfect launch site for the 24 episode series. The comedy trio will visit McGillin’s Old Ale house, Philadelphia’s oldest continuously operated bar, talk about some local exclusive drinks, and the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania area’s exalted beer scene.
That’s not all, not only does the show give us some great information on local cultures throughout the nation while adding comedic relief (which is something we all know informative TV shows lack) it also has it’s own drinking game.
Not wanting to leave you with a dry mouth, Zane Lamprey & Co. designed a drinking game around the show which the audience can participate in. That’s right, finally a show with an official drinking game already implemented in it.
A couple rules are; if you see “Pleepleus”, the show’s stuffed monkey, you point it out and can make a friend drink. If you see a continuity change (such as something changing between frames) you can make a friend drink, or every time one of the hosts challenges another, you pick a side and if you lose, you drink.
