Beer tasting at The Bottle Shop
What: Free beer sampling with Harpoon Brewery
When: Thursday, march 10th 7-9pm
Where: The Bottle Shop, 13th & Passyunk (South Philly)
The Bottle Shop is hosting a FREE beer tasting with Harpoon Brewery. Featured beer is their 100 Barrel Series, as well as their seasonal. Free gourmet popcorn will be given out during the event. Tasting is free, though we’d recommend getting there early!

P.Y.T., Pollard St. & Germantown Ave (Northern Liberties)
Special: All day Special (11am-2am): Pint of High Life and a shot of Jameson for $7. Happy Hour: 5-7pm, ½ off all drafts. Late Night: 8-11pm: $2 well drinks.

Dogfish Head Beer Weekend at Bridgid's
What: Tapping six different Dogfish Brews
When: Friday March 11th, and Saturday March 12th, 6pm
Where: Bridgids, Meredith & 24th (Fairmount)
Bridgids is featuring six different Dogfish beers on tap. The beers are: Midas Touch, Chateau Jiahu, Burton Baton, Palo Santo, Sha’Tea and Aprihop.

Pub Crawls all over Philadelphia
Without a doubt, the biggest thing happening this week in Philly are the St. Patrick’s Day pub crawls, and we have the all the information you need.
The main bar crawls are: The Running of the Micks (Center City), and two Erin Express crawls going through bars in North East Philly and University City, as well as the Craft Beer Express.

Sunday, March 13th
Sly Fox & The St. Patrick's Day Parade at Kite & Key
Sly Fox and Kite & Key will be featuring a selection of their great beers a stone's throw away from the parade route from 11am-5pm. Beers include:
- Sly Fox O’Reilly’s Stout
- Seamus Red
- Helles Lager
- Saison Vos
- Phoenix Pale Ale.
St. Patrick's Day Parade
Sunday is our nation's second oldest St. Patrick’s day parade. It starts at 11am at JFK Boulevard, and travels North. Come out and enjoy the spirit of St. Patrick’s day by watching the parade, or catch it on TV with at your favorite bar and enjoy some brunch specials.

Brewer's Plate
The 7th Annual Brewer’s Plate will be on March 13th, 2011 at the Penn Museum.
Brewer’s Plate is Fair Food’s “marquee fundraiser” that brings together all of the region’s sustainably-minded breweries, restaurants, farmers, and artisanal producers within 150 miles of the city, and offers you a sample of what they have to offer.
