Teresa's
Teresa's Next Door Bar in Wayne is a Main Line gem that give suburbanites a watering hole without the trek into the city. In fact, the extensive beer list, affordable specials, and quirky food menu may make it well worth the trek out of the city to visit.
The happy hour gets going early. From 4p.m. to 6p.m. on weeknights, Teresa's Next Door offers $3 American draughts and $5 Belgian draughts, plus $3 off of all wine by the glass. Last week for happy hour, Allagash White, Russian River Damnation, Klokke Roeland, Stoudt's Gold, Bell's Pale Ale, and Stone Old Guardian Belgo Barleywine were included in the special, as well as Sly Fox O'Reilly's Stout on nitro.
In celebration of Teresa's new lunch hours, Tuesday Morning Tappings have been happening from now "until you beer folk and foodies all realize we are open for lunch six days a week," according to Teresa's website. Most recently offered were beers from Firestone Walker Brewing Company from California, attended by David Walker himself. Double Jack, Walkers Reserve, and Abacus were poured, and a limited number of bottles were sold. Next up on April 19th is Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout, and on April 26th, Teresa's will be tapping its final Troegs Nugget Nectar Firkin.
Aside from drink specials, Teresa's shows the beginning of the week some love with Half-Price Cheese Sundays, Buck-a-Shuck Mondays, and Tasty Tuesdays, with select appetizers on special. For great beer outside of city limits, Teresa's Next Door is hard to beat.
