Jim Beam Heir Wants to Give You Bourbon at Twisted Tail, Nov 16
Headhouse Square’s blues and barbecue joint Twisted Tail will be extra lively on Wednesday, November 16. That’s the evening owner George Reilly will welcome Fred Noe, Jim Beam’s master distiller and the great-grandson of the original bourbon patriarch himself.
From 7–9 PM, Noe will spend the evening discussing all things Beam and bourbon as he pours complimentary tastes for restaurant guests. Free hors d’oevres will also be provided to pair with the brown booze, including Jim Beam-marinated pulled pork sandwiches, corn fritters with cheddar fondue and chicken-vegetable skewers.
A special flight featuring Jim Beam, Booker’s and Basil Hayden’s (all produced by the company) will be offered for $15, and at the end of the evening a signed bottle of Beam will be raffled off. Reservation are required, call 215-558-2471 or email georgereilly@thetwistedtail.com.
