Win a Trip to Belgium from Philly Beer Week at City Tap House

Win a Trip to Belgium from Philly Beer Week at City Tap House

You have until Wednesday, November 30, to make it to West Philly’s draft-happy City Tap House and snag a ticket to enter one of the best raffles we’ve come across this year. A $5 buy-in (or five for $20) gives you a chance to have a hand in the collaborative beers that will be brewed for Philly Beer Week 2012.

For the first time ever in its 167-year history, Belgian stalwart Brasserie Dupont is playing the collab game, and (thanks to connections via its now 30-year-old importer, Vanberg & DeWulf) will create a special beer in conjunction with a Philadelphia brewer, to be bottled and distributed throughout Philly, after debuting at PBW in June of next year

As determined at the November 30 drawying, the lucky recipient of the raffle’s grand prize will win a free trip to Belgium to take part in this historic partnership. And, that’s not all. Another person will receive the “PBW Beer-Stravaganza,” which includes two tickets to Opening Tap 2012, two tickets to Forum of the Gods, a beer sampler and – last, but not least – the opportunity to work with local brewers as they convene at Troegs Brewing Company to create Brotherly Suds 3.

All proceeds from the raffle will benefit Philly Beer Week (June 1–10, 2012), and go toward making it even better. Tickets are available for purchase right up to moment of the drawing, which will go down at 8:30 PM, though the party kicks off that night around 7 PM, so head over early to take part in the fun. Best of luck!

Update: At the November 30 event, City Tap House will be pouring a selection of local beers, including those from brewpubs Iron Hill, Nodding Head and Dock Street . Check out a partial list, below.
