Sunoco Stations Fill Your Growlers
Sunoco Stations in Western New York have recently opened up the "Craft Beer Exchange," allowing patrons to stop in and fill up their growlers with small-batch draft beer on-site.
This is just a small part of a wildly successful pilot program, and the reps hope that it will continue to grow. We were a little surprised at some of the offerings, including Buffalo's Flying Bison Rusty Chain for only $7.99 per fill.
The Craft Beer Exchange currently has 14 taps at eleven of its 17 stores, offering up to 132 different microbrews at any given time.
It's great to see so many other cities and regions embracing craft beer the way Philly has. Something as simple as offering craft beer at a gas station seems like a great way to start.
