Alex's Lemonade Stand Lemon Society Speakeasy, April 20
Any chance to support Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation’s mission to eradicate childhood cancer sounds good to us, but if you throw in some of the best bartenders and mixologists in Philadelphia, what could be better?
The first-ever Lemon Society Speakeasy will take place Friday, April 20 in the swanky Arts Ballroom, just off Broad Street at 1324 Locust. This inaugural event for the young professionals’ Lemon Society of Philadelphia will feature an three hour open bar (8–11 PM) with signature drinks from Phoebe Esmon, Colin Shearn and Christian Gaal and Mike Goodrell, accompanied by bites from Stephen Starr Events.
“Modern Prohibition” period music will set the mood (not quite sure what that might be, but it certainly sounds interesting), and local celebs are scheduled to make appearances, so be sure to dress in your 1920s best for a fun evening for a great cause. Tickets are $75 per person (or you can choose to be a sponsor of the event for $250 and up), and are available online now.
