Cocktail Recipe: Sherry Cobbler at The Boilermaker

New Wash West tavern The Boilermaker may be a paean to beer and shot combos, their cocktail menu includes several impressive mixed drinks as well. Our Drink of the Week is the Sherry Cobbler, a berry-laden beverage that’s almost like an insta-sangria.

Sherry Cobbler
2 blackberries
3 blueberries
2 slices of strawberries
1 half moon of orange
2 oz. sherry (dry or sweet)
¼ oz. simple syrup
Combine all ingredients in a shaker tin and shake well. Pour all contents — no strain — into a cobbler glass and top with a mound of chipped ice. Serve with a wide mouth straw.
