Manayunk's inaugural "Restaurant Week" already has earned standing ovations from the historic community's restaurant owners and customers alike. Today, the event planners behind "Restaurant Week" granted the event an encore.
The early success of "Restaurant Week", which began Sunday, September 30th and was scheduled to conclude this Friday, October 5th, prompted officials of the Manayunk Development Corporation (MDC) and its board chairman to announce a one-week extension of the community's first-ever "Restaurant Week" through Friday, October 12th.
