Party Perfect: Let Lucy's Hat Shop Host Your Private Event

Party Perfect: Let Lucy's Hat Shop Host Your Private Event

Lucy’s Hat Shop in Old City is known as a party spot, by which we mean a place to hit on the weekend with friends when you want to drink and dance the night away. But the space is run by event experts Four Corners Management, so it makes sense the Third Street bar is also perfect for hosting a different kind of party — your own private event.

Two huge bars line the main rooms, which hold up to 400 people, and there’s a separate space upstairs that can hold 350 guests. Looking for a place for a bangin’ bachelorette bash, a birthday extravaganza or a swanky late night happy hour for a few friends or coworkers? Lucy’s has you covered with several private party options.

The Big Bash Open Bar Package is available each Friday or Saturday night, and works like this: for just $20 per person, you get a two-hour open bar (9–11 PM) including select domestic drafts, all single-liquor well drinks, Red Bull drinks and all juices and sodas. You don’t even need a huge crowd to take advantage: the minimum number of people you need is four. If you do bring more than 10 for the party, however, the guest of honor receives a free open bar for him or herself to use as desired. These events must be booked at least 24 hours in advance, so think ahead to take full advantage.

Other options are available if you want to upgrade the sips; for example, for $30 per person the two-hour open bar includes call drinks in addition to the well, all beers, wine and all the rest. Food platters are also available to add heft to your party, such as the $35 chips and salsa tray with black bean dip, the $30 chicken wing platter or the $45 mini sandwich platter.

Check out all the ways to book your event on the Lucy’s website here, and contact party planner Jaime Pietzsch at Jaime@fcm215.com or 215-568-1616 x107 to find out more or schedule your party.
