New Year's Eve Events for Craft Beer Lovers in Philadelphia

We put together a huge list of all the New Year’s Eve happenings in Philadelphia, but what if all you care about is that a party has great craft beer? Here is a consolidated list of the events that include great craft brew.

Cavanaugh’s Rittenhouse
9 PM–midnight; $65
Your ticket brings a three-hour premium open bar, a complimentary buffet, a DJ, party favors, free coat check and a midnight Champagne toast at this Rittenhouse sports bar (1823 Sansom St.; 215-665-9500).

Field House
9 PM–2 AM;  $95-$155

Choose from a dozen different premium five-hour open bar options at the pub located just across from Reading Terminal Market (1150 Filbert St.; 215-629-1520).

Perch Pub
8 PM–2 AM; $50 beer dinner or $50 open bar package
The Avenue of the Arts gastropub will offer a four-course/three-beer dinner starting at 8 PM, or choose the 10 PM–1 AM open bar package, with top shelf spirits, midnight munchies, party favors and a Champagne toast (1345 Locust St.; 215-546-4090).

Revolution House
9:30 PM; $10
Your admission fee gains you access to the upstairs party with drink specials featuring Victory and Dogfish Head beer, contests for best dressed, a DJ, a heated, enclosed deck. Reservations for parties of 10 or less can be made for the deck with a $50 credit card deposit (200 Market St.; 215-625-4566).

Alla Spina
4 PM–2 AM
Enjoy special Champagne-like beers and $6 prosecco in a pay-as-you-go format at this Vetri Family birreria on North Broad (1410 Mount Vernon St.; 215-600-0017).

Brauhaus Schmitz

Enjoy a grand buffet at this South Street German beer hall, along with a four-hour open bar and live music (718 South St.; 267-909-8814).

Hawthornes
7–10 PM; $100   
Enjoy six beers and five courses of food at the South Philly bottle shop and pub (738 S. 11th St.; 215-627-3012).

Jack's Firehouse
4:307 PM, 9 PM2 AM; $40
Jack's will open for a special 4-course dinner and then will be rocking all night for New Year's Eve.

Kennett
8 PM; $65
Four courses will be paired with powerful four Yards Brewing Company beers (848 S. 2nd St.; 267-687-1426).

London Grill
$45
Enjoy prix fixe and a la carte menus all night. Check out the menus here.

Monk's Cafe
6:30 PM; $75; 9 PM: $125
A four-course dinner for the early seating or a six-course meal for the later seating, each with beer pairings and party gifts (264 S. 16th St.; 215-545-7005).

Union Transfer
9 PM; $40-45
Dance and party in three different rooms with a number of DJs including Sammy Slice, Dave Pak, Rocktits and more (1026 Spring Garden St; 215-232-2100).

Urban Saloon
9 PM–2 AM
$55 gets you a top shelf open bar, hor'dourves buffet, champagne toast at midnight, a DJ, and party favors.

Varga Bar
6 PM–1 AM; $50–$75   
Choose from a three- or five-course tasting meal or just go for an open bar package at the Wash West gastropub (941 Spruce St.; 215-627-5200).

Village Belle
5 PM: $ 75; 8:30 PM: $125    
A four-course meal will be complemented by an unrivaled view of the Penn’s Landing fireworks at this Front Street Italian (757 S. Front St.; 215-551-2200).

War on Drugs at Johnny Brenda's
8 PM; $18
Philly's own War on Drugs will be performing a special NYE show. $1 of every ticket sold will be donated to MANNA. Purling Hiss and Avery Rosewater will be opening the show.
