Shark Week Specials in Philly: Bierstube, Revolution House and More
Shark Week is back! On Sunday, August 4, the Discovery Channel goes all shark, all the time for a whole week. You can catch the underwater action with drink specials and attend shark-inspired dinners around Philadelphia. Know another we don’t have listed yet? Let us know on Facebook or Twitter and we’ll add it below.
Bierstube
Old City’s will be running Shark Week on the TV with sound on, so if you’re a major mako fan, this is the spot to hit. During the shows you can score Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA for just $3, or tallboys of Narragansett (the beer they drink in Jaws) for just $2. Also look for the Great White Shandy: ginger brandy with Allagash White and Barenjager.
Revolution House
Just down the block, Shark Week will be showing (with the sound off) and a list of sharky cocktails will be served, as follows:
Jumping the Shark: Svedka vanilla vodka, Blue Curaçao, lime juice
Sharknado: House-infused cucumber vodka, lemon juice, tomato juice, Sriracha
You're Gonna Need a Bigger Boat: Jack Daniels honey whiskey, lemon, iced tea
Mega Shark vs. the Kraken: Kraken rum, Evolution Rise Up Stout
La Calaca Feliz
The Fairmount Mexican is hosting a Sharknado dinner all night on Wednesday, August 7. A plate of mako shark roasted in the caja china BBQ grill will be served with plenty of fixings for $25 per person.
