On June 9th from 5-7pm, Urban Adventures will be hosting a beer tour that covers four of Center City’s bars, all leading up to a rare beer tasting from 7pm-10pm at Jose Pistolas.

The tour is led in part by sales rep and former brewer Gary Rosen from Long Island’s Blue Point, and will be a great opportunity to talk about the brews, and try some unique one-shots.

We’ve been told that Gary will be sampling the No Apologies Double IPA (one of three kegs in PA), Toxic Sludge (a firkin from one of the last batches – ever), and a special Old Howling Bastard barleywine that’s been aged for a year.

Participate in the tour (with advance purchase tickets), and get $1 off each pint. If you can’t make the tour, just swing by for the Blue Point tasting at 7pm and you can Pay As You Go at normal price!

Stick around, because at 10pm they’ll be running the Late Night With Joe Gunn variety show.
