Four Seasons Swann Lounge "Pheeling Hope" for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Aside from the somewhat hokey name, we love everything about the new Pheeling Hope cocktail at the Swann Lounge, located inside the Four Seasons hotel on Logan Circle. Developed by resident mixologist Michael Haggerty, the drink is being offered throughout October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and proceeds from sales of the sip will benefit the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania.
The pink-hued drink is made entirely with ingredients sourced from companies within a 50-mile radius of the Philadelphia. The base ingredient is Rhuby, the rhubarb tea liqueur from Art in the Age, along with Haggerty’s own housemade rosé vermouth. Check out the cocktail recipe below (don’t miss the garnish if you make your own!), and stop in to the Swann Lounge anytime this month to try it — it’s $16, but $2 goes directly to breast cancer research. Pheel it?
Pheeling Hope
2 oz. Rhubarb Tea Liqueur
2 oz House made Rose Vermouth
½ oz Honey Syrup
Shake well, pour into a martini glass, and garnish with a fruit loop.
