The E-Street Sour
This beautiful cocktail is reminiscent of the whiskey sours of the swinging 60s and 70s cocktail parties, but taken up several notches and nowhere near as sickly sweet. In fact, it has just the right amount of sweet from the natural caramel flavor of Demerara sugar. That sugar added to Old Overholt Straight Rye Whiskey, lemon and a frothy egg white creates a perfectly balanced sour.
