5 Philadelphia Bars and Restaurants that are Redefining the Bloody Mary |
Capofitto
Eggy breakfast pizzas, sorbetto cocktails and fresh out of the fryer mini bomboloni are three great reasons to head to Capofitto for brunch, but this new Old City spot gets bonus points for a truly unique Bloody Mary. The Blood of San Gennaro begins with yellow and red heirloom tomato juice sourced from nearby Green Meadow Farms, and the heat comes by way of freely grated horseradish and Calabrian chiles (in the mix and as a garnish). But the real heat is due to the fact that Capo swaps out vodka for grappa and finishes it with a prosecco float making their Bloody a real eye opener. (233 Chestnut St.; 215-897-9999)
