5 Philadelphia Bars and Restaurants that are Redefining the Bloody Mary |
Oyster House
Predictably enough, Oyster House's take on the Bloody Mary is seafood centric. Channeling a favorite from north of the border, Oyster House has opted to land a Caesar on their day drinking menu. While the Caesar and the Bloody Mary might look fairly similar on the surface, this Canadian import gets a big boost of umami because it incorporates clam juice into the tomato, celery seed and horseradish mix. Depending on the fortitude of your morning after stomach and overall moral, Oyster House also boasts a menu of oyster shooter that match freshly shucked East and West Coast specimens with boozy garnishes like cilantro infused vodka, hot pepper and tomato juice.
