The fifth annual "Pints for North Light", a fundraiser to benefit the kids of North Light Community Center . Tickets start at $50 and can be purchased online at www.pintsfornorthlight.com. North Light's board of directors is behind the creation of "Pints for North Light". Realizing the Center must rely on creativity and innovation in order to raise money during current economic conditions, former board president Jane Lipton and others board members have been instrumental in planning the event each year.

The evening festivities will take place upstairs, in a private banquet room at the brewery. Autumn brews donated by the hosting sponsor, the Manayunk Brewery and Restaurant, will be available for tasting. Other sponsors pouring at the event include Sly Fox Brewery, the Great Lakes Brewing Company, Troegs, Stone Brewing Company, Victory, Evil Genius and the Bearded Brew. For those who would prefer wine, Tamanend Winery will be serving their pumpkin spice. Delicious food is being provided by area restaurants including Deke’s Bar-B-Q, The Couch Tomato Café, Nolt’s Chicken BBQ, Baggataway Tavern, Dream House Asian Bistro, Johnny Manana’s, Au Bon Pain and Pierogie Kitchen. Entertainment for the evening will come from DJ Sounds by Shelly. She invites you to “get shell shocked!”
