Stumble With Santa Through the South Street Headhouse District
If you’re having trouble getting into the spirit of the season, perhaps a proper bender with Old St. Nick himself will help you find that inner jolliness that’s so vital for enjoying the holidays.
If you agree, you’re in luck. That opportunity presents itself on Saturday, December 14 in and around the vicinity of South Street and Headhouse Square. That’s when more than a dozen of the neighborhood’s restaurateurs, bar owners and merchants will team up for Santa’s South Street Stumble, a bar crawl and holiday extravaganza that should leave you feeling merry through the New Year.
To participate, grab a Santa Hat, available for $5.00 at each participating business and the South Street Headhouse District table at Christmas Village on Saturday, December 14, and start stumbling with the jolly fat man. The hat gets you special deals on Goose Island’s Sixth Day Ale, as well as other special Christmas beers and holiday cocktails that will be offered.
Proceeds from the hats will be donated to the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, Knight Arts Challenge Grant.
Participating businesses include:
