Slip into some flannel and grab your ax, because once again it’s time for Irish Pol’s annual Paul Bunyan Night. For its fifth annual celebration of the greatest hero of North American folklore, which is going down on Wesnesday, January 15, the Old City beer bar is rolling out a bunch of brews that are as big and brawny as the mythical, Scotch plaid-clad lumberjack.

Also on the evening’s lineup are giant flapjacks, some awesome prizes, and an appearance from Bunyan’s trusty sidekick, Babe the Blue Ox. And since everyone will be dressed in flannel, the Pol’s sound system will have more grunge cranking than the 1992 Lollapalooza lineup.
