Crabs, Clams, and Beer, Oh My! The Philadelphia Craft Beer, Crab, & Clam Fest, June 28
Attention seafood lovers, this is the festival for you! Doc Magrogan’s Oyster House in University City is hosting a beer, crab, and clam fest on Saturday, June 28. Enjoy some of the freshest seafood in the city while sipping some great craft beers.
From 1 to 5 PM, you’ll be treated to delicious summer food and beer pairings with plenty of options for seafood fanatics and landlubbers alike. Enjoy steamed crab legs, Maryland crab soup, clams on the half shell, clams casino, New England clam chowder, steamed clams with chorizo and potatoes, and much more. You can also enter the clam eating contest, and enjoy live music all afternoon.
Tickets will run you $35 when you purchase them in advance and $40 if you pick them up at the door. With your ticket you’ll get 10 (6 oz) beer samples, a take-home Crabbies pint glass, and plenty of delicious food. Additional food will also be available for purchase. A portion of each ticket will benefit the FOP Survivors Fund.
