Celebrate Design and Innovation at Old City Fest, Oct. 12
Fall seems to find every neighborhood bustling with festivals, farmer’s markets, art exhibits and beer gardens all trying to squeeze in one last celebration before winter takes hold. This weekend is no different, with plenty of things to do and see around Philly. One neighborhood we’ve got our sights on for weekend festivities is Old City.
Head down to one of Philly’s most historic ‘hoods and enjoy all the district has to offer during Old City Fest happening on Sunday, October 12. Old City Fest is celebrating DesignPhiladelphia’s 10th anniversary by showcasing local designers, creative firms, restaurants, theaters and retailers. There will also be live entertainment all day on the Old City Fest Stage. Look for vendors like Smak Parlour, Franklin Fountain, Panorama, Scout Vintage, The Clay Studio and many more. And you won’t want to miss the live printing demonstrations presented by the Hamilton Wood Type Museum.
If this sounds like your cup of tea, head to 3rd Street between Market and Race on Sunday between Noon and 6 PM for food, fun and fall festivities.
