Sip for a Cure at the Fourth Annual Lemon Society Speakeasy, March 28

Sip for a Cure at the Fourth Annual Lemon Society Speakeasy, March 28

Back for a fourth year is one of the city’s best fundraising events, the Lemon Society Speakeasy. This Prohibition-themed night is all about lemons, Alex’s Lemonade Stand and raising money for a fantastic cause.

This year’s Speakeasy is Saturday, March 28, at The Pyramid Club. And what would a Speakeasy be without some great cocktails? Guests will have the opportunity to sample lemon-themed drinks from some of the city’s top bartenders and can then cast a vote for the ‘People’s Choice’ award. Bartenders are also competing to win the coveted ‘Spirit of the Speakeasy’ award, chosen by a panel of guest judges.

Bartenders competing at this year’s Speakeasy include Brain Bevilacqua of Bank & Bourbon, Phoebe Esmon of Emmanuelle, Stephen Warner of Lo Spiedo, Tom Danks of Morton’s the Steakhouse, Kimberly Hill of Heritage and Adam Ravitz of South Philly Tap Room.

Aside from amazing cocktails, the evening will include delicious bites and great tunes. A mix of DJs and live music will keep the night swinging, so don’t forget your dancing shoes. Prohibition-era dress is encouraged as there will also be a fun photo booth and a photographer at the event.

Tickets are $80 per person and can be found here. The evening runs from 8–11 PM at The Pyramid Club, located on the 52nd floor of 1735 Market Street. For more information about the Lemon Society of Philadelphia or the Lemon Society Speakeasy click here.
