Merry merry and happy happy! Whether you’re headed out with the family for a no-mess holiday feast or just need a break from the crushing familial obligations and torn gift wrapping, there are several bars and restaurants open and ready to serve you on December 25. Check out our list — we already checked it twice — and enjoy your holiday with a drink in hand.

American Sardine Bar
Open 6 PM–1 AM.

Bottle Bar East
Open at 4 PM. Wear an ugly Christmas sweater and get 10% off your bill.

Bridget Foy's
Open 4–8:30 PM. Enjoy festive cocktails and seasonal dishes a la carte. Reservations are suggested. 

Cavanaugh’s Head House
Open 8 PM–2 AM.

Cavanaugh's Rittenhouse
Open 7 PM–2 AM.

Grey Lodge Pub
First floor bar open at 8 PM for drinks only. 

Hop Angel Brauhaus
Open for brunch from 10 AM–2 PM. 

Red Owl Tavern
Open and serving the Feast of Seven Latin Fishes from 5:30–9:30 PM. Dinner is available for $60 per person or a la carte. 

South Philly Tap Room
Open 6 PM–1 AM.

Square 1682
Open for Brunch from 8 AM–2:30 PM and Dinner from 5:30–11 PM.
