Bars Open on Thanksgiving 2016 in Philadelphia
If family time gets to be too much, you may need a drink (or 10) after this year's Thanksgiving feast. While the liquor stores may be closed, many bars in Philadelphia are kind enough to open their doors to all of us in need of some relaxation.

Bottle Bar East (1308 Frankford Ave.; 267-909-8867)
Bottle shop open at noon. Bar and kitchen open at 3:30 PM.
 
Bridget Foys (200 South St.; 215-922-1813)
Open from 12:30-7:30 PM
 
Bru Craft & Wurst (1316 Chestnut St.; 215-800-1079)
Opens at 9 PM
 
Cavanaugh's Headhouse  (421 S 2nd St.; 215-928-9307)
Opens at 3:30 PM

Open for breakfast at 8 AM. Also doing three dinner sittings at 3 PM, 5 PM, and 7 PM. Reservations suggested.
 
Devil's Den (1148-1150 S. 11th St.; 215-339-0855)
Opens at 6 PM. Special happy hour from 6-8 PM with 1/2 priced drafts. 20% discount for industry folks and $1 off Yards brews all night.
 
Fine Palate (231 S 15th St.; 267-318-7971)
Open from 2-7 PM. Also, taking reservations for $55 prix-fixe Thanksgiving dinner menu. 
 
Grey Lodge Pub (6235 Frankford Ave.; 215-856-3591)
Opens at 8 PM, bar only.
 
Little Lion (243 Chestnut St.; 267-273-0688)
Opens at noon with a full bar and light menu, at 2 PM they begin seating for their family-style holiday dinner.
 
O'Neal's Pub (611 S 3rd St.; 215-574-9495)
Opens at 11 AM. Happy hour from 4:30-6:30 PM. 
 
South Philadelphia Tap Room (1509 Mifflin St.; 215-271-7787)
Opens at 5 PM
 
Taproom on 19th (2400 S 19th St.; 267-687-7817)
Open from 11 AM - 12 PM. Kitchen closed. 
 
The Twisted Tail (509-511 S. 2nd St.; 215-558-2471)
Open from 12- 10 PM. Serving family-style Thanksgiving dinner.
 
The Upstairs Bar (112 S 18th St.; 267-467-3277)
Opens at 6 PM
 
U-Bahn (1318 Chestnut St.)
Opens at 9 PM. Hosting a Greek Thanksgiving Party with DJs & a band.
