Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest is Now Open for the Season
The Delaware River Waterfront Corporation has announced the Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest will open for its 24th season on Friday, November 24 at 1 PM.
Skaters can enjoy the regulation-sized ice skating rink all season as well as food and drinks provided by Garces Group, Chickie’s and Pete’s and Franklin Fountain in the lodge. New this year are even more spaces for skaters to hang out that are equipped with heaters fire pits, and also classic concessions have been added like pizza, pretzels, fried oreos and funnel cake at a lower price point than other stands.
Some of the special events of the 2017-2018 Winterfest season will include a holiday tree lighting, skating with Santa, New Year’s Eve parties and fireworks, Winterfest Brewfest and many more. Check back on the DRWC website for announcements and info.
Opening weekend hours are Friday and Saturday 11 AM-1 AM and Sunday 11 AM-11 PM. Regular operating hours after November 26 are Monday through Thursday 1 PM-11 PM, Friday 1 PM-1 AM, Saturday 11 AM-1 AM and Sunday 11 AM-11 PM.
