This Northern Liberties bar is a haven for soccer players 365 days a year, so it’s no surprise they are one of our top picks to watch the Cup. Enjoy the games on with sound, and stay until the evening when the upstairs bar turns into a dance club to party the night away. (700 N 2nd St.)

Open every game day at 9:30 AM (sometimes open at 9 AM for some games beginning earlier) this South Street bar is the perfect spot to root on Germany’s defending champs. Expect beer specials, giveaways, and even extra TVs brought in (with the sound on) so fans won’t miss any of the action. For Germany’s matches (June 17 at 11 AM, June 23 at 2 PM and June 27 at 10 AM) the bar will be charging a $10 cover which includes your first beer. Seating is first come, first serve so they suggest arriving early. They’re also offering a VIP option for $60 which includes unlimited beer starting one hour before the match, two food tickets, seating in a private beer hall with 10 foot projector screen and VIP rooftop access. As is tradition, the bar will close down the 700 block of South Street for the final match on Sunday, July 15 with a huge viewing party from 10 AM - 5 PM (with the game beginning at 11 AM). Head to this Midtown spot to watch all of the games with sound on, on their giant projection wall. They’ll be showing any games that occur between 11 AM-2 AM through June 25 and starting on June 25 they’ll be opening at 9:45 AM to show even more games. Some specials include $4 select drafts, discounted appetizers before noon and during the semi-finals their downstairs bar U-Bahn will be having watch parties with $5 select drafts and apps. Watch any game before noon at this Center City cider spot and score $4 IPA, pilsner, saison or cider drafts. Other specials include $8 Kinsey Whiskey and $10 flights before 4 PM. The bar will be opening 10:45 AM for the first week of games and then 9:45 AM for the following two weeks to broadcast all the games with sound. (1500 Locust St.)

Three special happy hours await in Old City in honor of the World Cup. From Sunday, June 24 to Tuesday, June 26 Cuba Libre will be showing the 2 PM games and offering special $5 tapas, and cocktails, wine and beer priced between $4-$5. (10 S 2nd St.)
