Tired Hands to Open New Location Across From Fishtown Beer Garden

Ardmore based brewery Tired Hands is opening its first brick-and-mortar bar and restaurant within Philadelphia — specifically, in Fishtown.

The brewery's new space, situated across the street from their Fishtown beer garden, will have a six seat bar and a fifty seat restaurant and will serve up beers straight from Tired Hands' fermentaria, with a dozen beers on tap as well as selections from 333 Kombucha. They'll also have a special area just for their original espresso, Awake Minds, and a full third of the entire space will be occupied with the kitchen, which will serve up Chinese inspired American classes to the restaurant as well as the beer garden across the street.

Last Friday we sealed the deal on our first brick and mortar outpost in Philadelphia. We will be constructing a cozy fifty-ish seat restaurant with a six seat bar. Pulling in Strange & Beautiful beer from our @fermentaria, #BrewCafé, and #Dispensary, the plan is to have about a dozen beers, @333kombucha, and our own natural wine(!) on tap. We will also have a tidy area dedicated to pulling and presenting the perfect shot of our Awake Minds espresso. Roughly one third of the space will be a kitchen capable of not just feeding the most far out stony bologna Chinese inspired/classic American food to the folks in the building, but also to the 200 people hanging in our Biergarten, which is literally right across the street. . St. Oner’s. 2218 Frankford Ave. =)

There's no opening date yet for the new bar, which is located at 2218 Frankford Ave., so keep an eye out for the first official Tired Hands restaurant within city limits.
