Be a part of history on Saturday November 20th, as the only Gravity Tap on the East Coast is officially opened!  Long ago, Yards Brewery helped Bridgid's to construct this wonder of physics to bring you great tasting beer.  Now, in order to embrace the wonder and maybe learn a little info about the Gravity Tap, Bridgid's, Yards Brewing Company, and Drink Philly invite you to enjoy two full hours of unlimited pours from the Gravity Tap, a food buffet, Yards Merchandise, and other fun stuff!

Some of you may be wondering, "Now what exactly is this 'Gravity Tap' you speak of?"  Well, the Gravity Tap at Bridgid's is basically an unpressurized sixtel located three entire stories above the bar with a tube that goes through the building down to the bar, where the delicious beer comes out of the tap.  So, it's not just a clever name, gravity literally brings the beer down to your glass.  Because there is no pressurization (air) involved, the beer (usually a dark beer) is smoother than if the keg were pressurized.  Because the beer travels so far after it leaves the keg, it can only be used in the colder months, which is why there is a grand opening every fall!
