What: Nerds and geeks rapping at the Brewpub
When: January 27th, from 9pm to midnight.
Where: Triumph Brewing Co. in Old City
Come see Drink Philly’s own PR director Justin Giza along with ECOMOG and King Pheenix. The show is absolutely free and there will also be $5 Vodka drinks. If you like hip-hop, gaming of any sort, NES nostalgia, chip music, drinking, dance parties and all things geek, then get down here, have a beer, and be prepared for three hours of awesomeness.

What: The ultimate 80’s tribute band
When: Doors open at 9pm, show starts at 10:30
Where: The Blockley Pourhouse, 38th and Chestnut
Bust out your white snake jean jacket and enjoy 80’s tribute band Back to the Eighties featuring Rubix Kube. Drink specials and party goes all night. Tickets are $10 and can be bought HERE

Buckhead Philly Open Bar Special Olympics Fundraiser
What: Open bar fundraiser for the PA Special Olympics
When: Saturday, January 29th from 8pm-2am.
Where: Buckhead Saloon at 3rd and Willow in Northern Liberties
Come out and drink for a good cause. $30 open bar from 8-10pm in which part of the proceeds will be donated to the PA Special Olympics fund. You get a cup at the door which you can use for any domestic draft and well drinks. From 10pm-12am there is a special happy hour. Say “special Olympics happy hour” at the door and you will get in for free. You have the option for a $5 wristband which will get you access to $3 well and domestic drinks and $4 call and imports.

What: In the Biz night for hospitality professionals
When: Every Sunday starting January 30th from 7:30-10:30pm
Where: Manayunk Brewery, Manayunk between Jamestown St. and Shurs Lane.
Showing appreciation to the hospitality industry, Manayunk Brewery is offering specials weekly starting this Sunday. Specials include $2.75 mugs, $4 mixed drinks and complimentary pizzas. There is live music by Tip & Bones and first drink is only one cent for ladies.
