Drink Philly Announces the First Annual “Drinker’s Choice Awards.”

Philadelphia, PA – February 1st will see the launch of the First Annual Drinker’s Choice Awards, organized by Drink Philly (www.philly.thedrinknation.com). The website, which focuses on happy hour and drink specials in the Philadelphia area plans to host seven categories: Best Beer Bar, Wine Bar, Happy Hour, Brew Pub, Cocktail Bar, Pub Food, and Sports Bar.

The voting process will take place at DrinkPhilly.com over two rounds. February 1st begins the nominations, with votes being tallied through February 15th. The top ten most voted in each category will move on to the next round.  Once finalists are determined, a secondary round of voting will continue from February 22nd to March 8th. The winners will receive customized trophies and twenty customized pint glasses for their respective bars.

The team hopes that this will be the first of many Drinker’s Choice awards to come.
